1.

Less is more

We hate seeing an empty plate, so we usually overload it, even if we don’t need that much food. Let’s take smaller portions at home or share large dishes at restaurants.

2.

What you buy
is what you eat

Be smart with your shopping. Make a list of what you need and stick to it, so you won’t buy more than you can actually use.

Don’t judge a
fruit by its skin

Fridge is the key

Your fridge can be your best alley or your worst enemy. Use it intelligently: store food between 1 and 5 °C and always move your oldest products to the front.

Dates are not
an opinion

“Use by” indicates a date by which the food is safe to be eaten, while “best before” means the food’s quality is best prior to that date, but it is still safe for consumption after it. Keep in mind this difference before discarding anything!

Sharing is Caring

If you can’t avoid making a surplus, the best thing you can do is donating it to who needs it most.
